　本症は，1916年Mucha^1）がparakeratosisvariegataないしpityriasis lichenoides chro-nicaに近縁の疾患として報告し，1925年Habe-rmann^2）がpityriasis lichenenoides et vario-liformis acuta （以下PLVAと略）と命名，その後，PLVAないしはMucha-Habermann病が本症の名称として広く用いられている。さて，本症は長らく類乾癬の亜型として分類されてき「たが，1959年Szymansk1^3）が本症の基本的変化を血管炎としたことから論議が重ねられている。したがつて，本症の病因論がまだ確立されていないこと，さらに比較的まれな疾患であることとが相まつて，本症の治療に関しては決め手となるものがなかつた。

　われわれは，最近，本症の2例にdiaminodi-phenyl sulfone （DDS）を使用し著効をみたことを日本皮膚科学会東京地方会第478回例会にて報告したが，その後さらに1例を経験したので，ここに追加報告する。

Three cases of this disease were treated with DDS and with beneficial effect. In two cases with the history of more than 2 years and 9 months respectively, which were resistant to various kinds of treatments, this therapy showed the disappearance of the eruptions. The third case was administered DDS on his first visit and was cured promptly.

This drug seemed effective to dermatoses with vasculitis, such as dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring, erythema elevatum diutinum, anaphylactoid purpura and this disease.
