  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The patient was a 63-year-old femal with complaints of epigastralgia, abdominal mass and lt-cervical lymphadenopathy. The first x-ray and endoscopic examinations revealed multiple, deep and irregular depression surrounded by elevations with a smooth surface. From these findings and biopsy specimens of lt-cervical lymph node and the stomach, the clinical diagnosis was determined as malignant lymphoma. The chemotherapy (Vincristine 1mg/W, Endoxan 100mg/day, Predonine 40mg/day) was performed, beeing very effective. Within only two to three Weeks, abdominal mass and lt-cervical lymphadenopathy disappeared. The change of the gastric lesions were observed by the series of x-ray and endoscopic examinations. At one month after treatment, depressions had become smaller, and small and irregular erosions and ganulations of various sizes were seen. Furthermore, afteer three months, only irregular redness with or without converging folds were observed endoscopically. At this stage, endoscopic findings did not reveal malignant lymphoma.
