As a part of a series of studies on the standardization and validation of the Japanese version of the Infant/Toddler Sensory Profile (ITSP-J), this study examined the reliability, standard scores, and cut-off scores based on data obtained from a Japanese community sample. A total of 306 infants/toddlers (0-36 months old) participated in this study. The adjusted item-total correlations indicated that each of the items adequately functioned in their subscales. The Cronbach's alphas showed that each of the subscales had a high internal consistency. Finally, the cut-off scores for each age group were determined based on percentiles. The clinical utility of the ITSP-J was discussed in terms of its effectiveness in the early detection of children's problems in sensory processing abilities and support for children with those problems.
