As part of a series of studies, the aim of which is to standardize and validate the Japanese version of Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second Edition, the present study examined the accuracy evaluation of the adaptive behavior scales. The alpha coefficient is a measure of internal consistency;the alpha coefficients for both the subscales and full scale indicated that they had a high degree of internal consistency. The test information values indicated accuracy measurable ranges for adaptive behavior and ages. These results indicate a high degree of reliability for the adaptive behavior scales and the accuracy measurable ranges for adaptive behavior and ages for the general population.
