Basic Concept of Cancer Screening Guideline

要旨●診療ガイドラインは“推奨”を含み，“系統的レビュー”による“利益と不利益の評価”に基づいて決定されなければならない．この際，対象とする検診が普及しているか否かは，判断基準には入らない．わが国では，厚生労働省研究班による検診有効性ガイドラインにより，予防指針につながる仕組みが構築されている．ただし，複数の機関が同一の課題についてガイドラインを作成し，推奨の結果が各ガイドラインで食い違う場合もあるため，作成されたガイドラインの質を一定の基準で吟味したうえで，比較検討する必要がある．

　Clinical guidelines should include recommendations based on systematic reviews and the assessment of advantages and disadvantages, and not on the grade of dissemination. In Japan, cancer screening guidelines developed by the research group supported by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare are linked to policy making. When multiple organizations develop guidelines on the same topic and issue different recommendations, the quality of the guidelines should be assessed according to specific criteria.
