早期胃癌を疑わせた良性病変

A BENIGN GASTRIC LESION SUSPECTED AS OF EARLY GASTRIC CANCER

Ⅰ．はじめに

　胃疾患の診断の進歩とともにより微細な病変がとらえられるようになったが，一方では術前早期胃癌と診断され手術を行ない，良性の病変である症例も少なくない．われわれは最近早期胃癌を疑い手術を行ない，良性病変であった例を経験したので報告し，併せてわれわれの経験した早期胃癌を疑われた良性病変の症例についていささか述べたい．

Case: a 51 years old female.

　An abnormality was found in the gastric antrum by a mass x-ray survey, but she had no particular subjective complaints. Two protruded lesions, the one on the anterior wall of the antrum and the other on its posterior wall, suspected by x-ray examination as of Ⅱa type cancer, was revealed by endoscopy as benign protrusions. Cancer cells were negative by cytological examination. However, suspicious x-ray findings remained the same after repeated examination so that operation was performed as early cancer could not be ruled out. Resected specimen showed a shallow elevation on the posterior wall of the antrum with a slight depression in its center. Histologically this was a Ul-Ⅱ ulcer scar. Almost the same finding was observed on its anterior wall as well.
