⑥化学療法により著しい変化を呈したBorrmannⅠ型胃癌の1例

A Case of Borrmann 1 Type Gastric Cancer Changed Significantly by Chemotherapy

患　者：石○亀○　70歳　男性

主　訴：腹部膨満感

家族歴・既往歴：特記すべきことなし

現病歴：1974年5月20日頃より主訴出現し，同年6月14日外来を受診した．諸検査にて，胃癌，肝転移，癌性腹膜炎と診断され，同年7月8日入院した．

　A 70 year-old man, who complained of hepatomegaly and ascites, was admitted to our hospital on July 8, 1974.

　Initial X-ray and endoscopic examination of stomach showed a large mass lesion, Borrmann 1 type cancer, on the posterior wall of the antrum. After admission, chemotherapy for gastric cancer was performed with Mitomycin, 51 uorouracil and cytosine arabinoside. Borrmann Ⅰ type lesion was transformed into a mass lesion with a central ulceration. Afterward, this large mass reduced gradually. Simultaneously, the border of the protuberance became indistinct and the central ulcer became shallow. It was difficult to differentiate this lesion from submucosal tumor radiographically and endoscopically at that time.

　The patient grew Worse gradually, regardless of the morphological change of the stomach cancer. jaundice and ascites appeared about one year after the initial administration of the anticarcinogenic agents and he died shortly.
